Our Team Complete the Journey of a Lifetime to Support Chain Reaction

In March our very own James McIntosh and Daniel Knorr completed an incredible feat, embarking on the ride of a lifetime to cycle over 1,000 kilometres across New Zealand to raise funds for the Chain Reaction Challenge Foundation, Monash Children’s Hospital & Starlight Children’s Foundation.

Commenting on the ride, Daniel Korr said, “it was one of the most physically difficult challenge I’ve ever done. There were moments of exhaustion, tough climbs, and long days but the sense of camaraderie and purpose kept us going. It truly was a once-in-a-lifetime experience – something I’ll never forget.”

ID_Land proudly raised over $50,000 to support the incredible work of Monash Children’s Hospital and the Starlight Children’s Foundation, with James and Daniel, both making it into Chain Reaction’s 2025 top ten fundraisers.

Matt Belford, Managing Director of ID_Land, said the company was blown away by the generosity of its corporate network and personal donations, with many partners and collaborators stepping in to support the cause.

“We’re incredibly proud of what our team achieved, and equally grateful for the immense support we received from our wider network. Every donation – big or small – contributes to making a meaningful difference in the lives of seriously ill children and this kind of impact simply wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our corporate partners and friends,” said Matt.

Being able to hear firsthand from recipients of Chain Reaction’s fundraising efforts on the ride, James McIntosh similarly reflected on how the experience was immensely humbling and life-changing.

“Seeing firsthand how dedicated everybody was to raise funds for Monash Children’s Hospital and the Starlight Children’s Foundation was incredible. Aside from the riders themselves who gave it their all every day, the dedication of the support crew was unbelievable, and feeling the extended support from our donors and partners every step of the way, was incredibly powerful. On behalf of ID_Land, I want to sincerely thank everyone who supported our fundraising efforts,” said James.

With the 2025 ride exceeding its $820,000 fundraising target, the funds raised by ID_Land and the wider peloton will go directly towards life-changing equipment, care and support for sick children and their families.

A huge congratulations to James and Daniel for their outstanding effort, and a heartfelt thank you to all who contributed to this meaningful cause.
